Hotel Mumbai teaser: Based on the assaults of 26/11, Dev Patel and Armie Hammer starrer is bone-chilling

Hotel Mumbai teaser
The teaser of Anupam Kher's international film Hotel Mumbai is out now. Starring Dev Patel and Armie Hammer in the lead, Hotel Mumbai is based on the dreaded terrorist attacks of 26/11 in Mumbai in 2008. The 1-minute-45-second teaser is heart-stopping and bone-chilling, to say the least. In the movie, Dev Patel plays a waiter at The Taj Mahal Palace. Anupam Kher is shown to be the head chef and Armie Hammer is portraying the character of a tourist.

The film showcases what went inside the high-end Hotel when ten terrorists from Pakistan opened fire at several places in Mumbai and some of them even made their way to the Taj, taking many innocent lives. While I am intrigued by the teaser of the film but I can't help but wonder about the point of making a film like this, which will be traumatizing to those who have been through it.

Anyway, that's just my opinion, as I mentioned above, the teaser of the film is intriguing and I am looking forward to the trailer and the film. Check out the teaser below:

The movie is directed by Australian filmmaker Anthony Maras. This is his first feature-length film. He shot to fame after his short film The Palace (2011) won Best Short Fiction Film' and 'Best Screenplay in a Short Film' at the 2012 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards (AACTA Awards).

Apart from Dev Patel, Armie Hammer and Anupam Kher, Hotel Mumbai also stars Nazanin Boniadi and Jason Isaacs, among others.
